Internet access in Recife

Internet access is widely available in Recife and in all other major Brazilian cities.
There are a few cyber cafes around the city and many LAN houses which also have internet conection; also, all major shopping centers have machines for rent.

Notice that prices, connection speed and privacy vary much. Cyber cafes are cheaper (about US$ 1 per hour), with faster connections and usually with more privacy; on the other hand, machines in shopping centers are more expensive (from US$ 3 per hour), with the lowest speed and with very little privacy.
